Practical PtX – risks, technologies, and fuel behavior

At DBI, we work to promote fire safety in Power-to-X (PtX). Exploring and understanding the practicalities and behaviour of PtX related technologies are at the core of our work.

During 2022, we have conducted experiments and literature studies, attended specialized courses, and established collaboration with universities aiming to collect a robust body of knowledge that can be used in the safety implementation of PtX facilities and technologies.

On the 25th of November, our experts will share initial insights from our work in the past year. The seminar will cover the following topics:

  • PtX fuels experiments
  • A different perspective on Methanol
  • PtX and fire in cables
  • Electrolyser accidents
  • Electrolysers modelling

We will also be joined by a guest speaker from Lund University in Sweden, who will present results from their research in hydrogen explosions.

Note that the presentations will be recorded. The presentations will be followed by Q&A and a networking session.

The seminar is free and is held in collaboration with Energy Cluster Denmark. The event will be conducted in English. Sign up here. (limited attendance).
