DBI Port Day 2026 – Green transition and maritime resilience in practice

Kursus kode: dpd2026

DBI – The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology – invites you to Port Day 2026. A thematic event where ports and maritime stakeholders come together to focus on the green transition and maritime resilience.

The Port Day is designed as an innovative event where presentations, live demonstrations involving explosions and fire, and dialogue are closely integrated. The programme focuses on giving participants the opportunity to experience, interact, test and discuss solutions in practice through these demonstrations and other interactive sessions. The aim is to provide concrete, practice-oriented insights into how new technologies, alternative fuels and resilience can be managed in port environments.

During the day, participants will:

  • Experience live demonstrations focusing on methanol
  • Gain insights into current research and development projects
  • Participate in DBI’s resilience game focusing on maritime resilience
  • Exchange experiences and engage in dialogue with stakeholders across the maritime sector
  • Experience and discuss solutions in practice through interactive, VR-based sessions

The programme focuses on practical solutions, with active participant involvement through rotations between presentations, demonstrations and dialogue.
