E-learning: 005 – Operation and Maintenance Responsibilities for Automatic Fire Alarm Systems
The e-learning course consists of videos, interactive elements, a course compendium, a glossary, quizzes, and reflection exercises throughout the course.
The course concludes with a multiple-choice quiz. Upon passing, you will receive a course certificate, which must be printed and kept with your fire alarm system documentation.
The course is flexible and allows you to:

You will have access to the course for three months from the date of purchase. During this period, you must complete the course in order to receive your course certificate.

Course description
The course covers the responsibilities and duties assigned to the person responsible for the operation and maintenance of the system.
The course introduces “DBI Guideline 005 - Automatic fire alarm systems Operation and maintenance” which forms the basis of the course. Basic fire theory is covered, including why fire protection systems are necessary, along with the principles of automatic fire alarm systems (AFA systems).
You will also learn about operating and alarm instructions, as well as the responsibilities and duties of the person responsible for the system.
Please note that information regarding the specific functionality of your own system must be obtained from the installation company that installed the system. This is not covered during the course, as all systems are different.

This course is intended for system owners and/or persons responsible for the operation and maintenance of an automatic fire alarm system (AFA system).
Duration
You should expect to spend approximately 3 hours completing the course, including time for reflection, exercises, and the final multiple-choice quiz.
