Social networks have made companies and public authorities exposed to what is called Social Engineering 2.0 – i.e. the manipulation of people through IT systems in order to get them to perform certain actions or pass on confidential information.
The aim of the DOGANA project is to define organisations' vulnerability to Social Engineering (SE) and also to reduce the risks related to Social Engineering.
DBI is responsible for developing tools which increase focus on the risks related to Social Engineering. In addition, DBI will perform extensive testing of the DOGANA platform, with six users working in critical areas such as energy, finance, transport, utility companies and public authorities.
