DBI emergency management also includes several features that support your organisation's emergency management efforts, making them timelier and more effective. For example, it can be used to communicate with employees with predetermined messages or notifications that are sent automatically in the event of an incident. Employees can be alerted to a fire, and employees with specific roles – such as evacuation officers – can receive action cards.

The solution's crisis dashboard can also provide your organisation's crisis team with a virtual meeting point. Here, everyone can access the same information and get an overview of the progression of an incident. E.g. you can see the activated incidents and the tasks that are started and completed.

DBI emergency management can also provide an overview of employees' locations in case of an incident. This offers the possibility of the platform being used in a travel security context. If an incident occurs in a place where employees are shown to be in, the company can request that they check-in with a point of contact, to confirm their safety.

The platform is also suitable for disseminating training videos and materials to build and maintain an emergency preparedness culture, as well as for planning and conducting exercises and drills.
