Security review

Identify vulnerabilities and reduce risk

Physical security and electronic surveillance are important parts of a holistic approach to security and protection against burglary, but also against fraud, industrial espionage, theft of material/immaterial assets, and threats to employee well-being. At DBI, we help our customers review their buildings, facilities, physical security measures, and installations to ensure that everything works as it should, and that the security solution achieves the desired effect.

A professional security review can be carried out as part of a larger project e.g. as part of a vulnerability analysis during a risk assessment. It can also stand alone and form the basis for a security policy, plan, and manual, the design of security solutions, quality control, confirmation of security level in connection with insurance purchases, etc. We also review specific products, solutions, and installations, and offer practical testing of these.

DBI’s advisors work with you to ensure familiarity with the use and maintenance of your security solution and individual measures, ensuring that the physical security and electronic surveillance functions as needed and when required.

Meet requirements and achieve desired effects

The Review and report

Prior to the security review, DBI's advisors establishes the baseline and align expectations with the client. This typically includes collecting any existing documentation, specific requirements, purpose, and desired effect. After that, a time is agreed upon for the advisor to visit the company and conduct a physical review of the premises. This typically includes the building layout and use, as well as security systems and system components with related documentation. After the review, DBI prepares the agreed documentation, normally a security memorandum or vulnerability assessment report, containing conclusions and recommendations supported by photos from the review.
