Seminar on public perception and P2X technologies
Note: The seminar has been postponed until 29 November
Do you work with renewable energy or green transportation, and are you curious about how to address issues of public perception and safety concerns in relation to Power-to-X? Then this seminar is relevant for you.
Power-to-X (P2X) is often mentioned as part of the multitude of technological solutions needed in reaching zero-emission targets. The development of P2X requires technological knowledge and development — but it also goes hand in hand with addressing social and cultural dimensions of the green transition, such as local acceptance and engagement among citizens and local communities.
At DBI, we work to promote a fast and safe transition to a greener society, and we see a need for continuously investigating how people can feel safe around the implementation and use of hydrogen and green fuels like ammonia or methanol.
At the seminar you will get a chance to apply the insights from the presentations to cases from your organisation, guided by experienced facilitators and experts. You will be equipped with specific tools and ideas on how to tackle questions and concerns regarding public perception of P2X in their work.
12:00 – 12:10. Welcome and introduction by Mette Marie Vad Karsten, DBI
12:10 – 12:35. Presentations by Simon Lex (University of Copenhagen), Nanna Bonde (European Energy), and Maja Felicia Bendtsen, Port of Roenne A/S
13:25 – 13:40 Break
13:40 – 15:40 Workshop: We ’hack’ cases on public perception of P2X technologies and explore how we might tackle issues of citizen engagement.
