For decades, DBI has conducted accredited fire tests and been a highly trusted partner for clients all over the world. Now we have expanded our test facilities with a new accredited state-of-the-art laboratory for Fire Detection Systems.
DBI’s Fire Detection Test Lab is ISO 17025 accredited and provides accredited testing of fire detection systems in accordance with selected EN 54 standards.
In addition, we offer research and development support in relation to the EN 54 standards listed below.

Maritime Standards
We are currently in the next accreditation process, which includes accreditation for the relevant marine standards. This accreditation is expected to be completed during 2026.
Test and certification in one place
With our new facility, you can both test and certify your products in a single location, as DBI and our subsidiary, DBI Certification A/S, operate from the same address. Bringing testing and certification under one roof will make the process more efficient and ensure a faster time-to-market for your products.
Our aim is to create a collaborative system that allows us to work in close partnership with our clients, while ensuring you have full transparency throughout the entire process – from test to certification.
